Such an excellent sushi course with melt in the mouth fish.. enveloping a pillowy bed of warm vinegared rice. The respect given to all the top-notch ingredients was evident, and we enjoyed every minute of the culinary experience. Many thanks to Head Chef Yamaguchi and the Sushi Wakon team for looking after us!

This is such a wonderful experience! Every piece was just sublime. Head Chef Masashi Yamaguchi is masterful and so skilled that I had to ask for seconds. His style is expectedly similar to Jiro’s - perfectly vinegared rice to bring out the sweetness of the fresh seafood and the ideal rice to fish ratio. Thank you for the great experience at your restaurant, and your down-to-earth manner put my friends and I at ease. I recently had such a bad experience at Uchitsu when the head Chef threw such a hissy fit that it almost ruined our Tokyo trip. So thanks for helping us regain the confidence in Japanese chefs! :):) Highly recommended!

Questions & Answers

I agree with the questioner. If you really want to return home so that everything else is left to you, all you have to do is stay at a business hotel from the beginning. That would be more efficient. Staying at a 5 star means you are looking for that much "comfort". First, those with a certain level of income have a tight schedule for earning money. If you think that being able to wait for a long time is "comfortable", why not go to a hotel with a different hobby?
